Amit and his team at Director’s Cut were our wedding videographers and to say that we were delighted with their service is an understatement. Prior to the events, they asked us thoughtful questions about what we wanted from our wedding videos and were always available to answer any further questions we had. Over the wedding weekend, they had a warm and friendly approach which allowed for even the most camera-shy person to immediately be at ease. So many of our guests spoke to us about how lovely they were, and they even made me laugh during the bride/groom photoshoot; I thought I would be too nervous even to move!

The videos they produced were of the highest quality: beautifully shot and edited. They captured the smallest details as well as every genuine reaction and meaningful moment, which is a testament to their observant and unobtrusive approach. But most importantly, they were just as accessible and approachable during the editing process, always willing to accommodate any requests we had.

They speak about their passion for film on their website and while you can definitely see that in the end product, I truly believe that they also have a passion for ensuring that their clients are valued and well looked after throughout the entire process. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

There are wedding photographers, and then there is The Director’s Cut. I love that they come to your events dressed as a guest in sharp suits / waistcoats. They interact with other guests incredibly well, and take time to learn names of guests and their relationship to the bride/groom.

We got some same day photo edits which was a really nice surprise. We got our entire picture collection within a few months, and the videos shortly after.

The quality of the videos that have been produced are comparable to big movie studio trailers/cinematic highlights. We had a few changes that we wanted made to a couple of the videos and these were sorted within a few hours and re-uploaded. Amazing drone footage and natural shots of us with our guests.

My older brother used them for his wedding in Jaipur a few years ago. At the time I wasn’t engaged but I knew I would be using The Director’s Cut as my wedding photographers!

One of the most important people to book for a wedding is a photographer/ cinematographer and I searched for a while but after coming across The Directors Cut and connecting with Amit who was nothing but helpful to all my questions, I am very happy that we chose to go with yourselves. The interface for the photos is so convenient, allowing us to easily share and the portal for us to upload all our info and contacts is so easy.

The team understood the vibe we were going for and were super helpful with recommendations, from the pre wedding shoot to the wedding and reception looks. The attention to detail throughout the day to how they approached family and friends was so professional and kind they made everyone feel comfortable.

Thank you to the entire team, being patient with our timings (Indian timing) and in helping us with our poses and dealing with the heat that day! We loved how they also capture candid moments throughout the day with elegance. We saw some behind the scenes footage within the week and just looking at the trailer gave me goosebumps, we can’t wait to receive all the pictures and videos in full.

The Director’s Cut were one of the best choices we made for our wedding suppliers. From the offset when getting quotes from many vendors, Amit stood out as professional and helpful in providing us with all the info we needed to make a decision on our videographer and photographer. Once we decided on The Director’s Cut, the entire process was highly efficient, with the online customer portal providing a seamless way of giving key information such as timings and key points of contact for the wedding day, and allowing us to provide examples of photographs/particular shots we really wanted.

When our initially planned wedding reception had to be cancelled on account of Covid-19, The Director’s Cut were easily the most understanding and supportive vendor we spoke to, and simply worked with us to support our smaller, intimate wedding plans, making one part of a stressful time that bit easier! In particular, Amit’s quick responses made communication very easy and was much appreciated by a stressed out bride to be!

The quality of our pre-shoot photographs, and our wedding teaser photos and teaser video are amazing and we cannot wait to receive all our pictures and full video. Again, a beautifully set up online portal allows us to access and download all our photographs and. video and share with loved ones.

The team on the wedding day were super efficient, made us feel at ease immediately, and despite difficulties of Covid related restrictions they did an incredible job capturing us on the day. They guided and directed us for photos while still letting the wedding day flow naturally and capturing candid moments, which is one of the key aspects we wanted in our photographer. The addition of a live stream set up by the team meant that many of our family and friends who couldn’t be with us due to the pandemic restrictions, were able to see us get married and a lot of them complimented the high quality of the stream, feeling as though they were there!

Overall I would thoroughly recommend The Director’s Cut to any couple looking for a great team to capture their happiest moments on their wedding day. Their communication, professionalism and quality of work is amazing and we are very happy we chose them!

Amit & Kamal are both amazing people and their work is just wow!

Kamal and his team shot our civil wedding in October 2020, and we couldn’t be happier with the photos and the video! The video was beyond our expectations!! We had our civil wedding amidst the pandemic but Kamal has made the constraints from the pandemic look gorgeous in our video!

Also they are so nice and patient! And they will direct you as much or as little as needed (for us, it was on the side of a lot as neither my husband or I are good with photos – but they were so patient with us and it didn’t feel like they were directing us at all 🙂 )

And super quick turnaround on the photos and video too!

Amit and his team are fantastic, they helped us throughout our wedding process and were fantastic on our wedding day. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for the day. From the moment I met Kamal and the team at a wedding exhibition over a year ago I knew Directors Cut were the perfect choice for our wedding cinematography. I was hesitant because of the costing; however, I do believe you pay for what you get; with these guys you get quality! They really did capture every fine detail at our 3 different events last year summer. Our footage is absolutely stunning! They made us feel so comfortable and are extremely experienced in what they do. Their creativity is out of this world and I especially loved how helpful George and Ephraim were on the morning of my Indian wedding. They were so calm and patient; helped with my jewellery because I was panicking about time, not fully ready, and they were very reassuring. It helps that the team have a sense of humour and are super friendly!
